Mae, The French Mastiff, With Terminal Cancer Discovers A Forever Home To Cherish Her Remaining Days

Meet Mae, a 5-year-old French Mastiff dog, who faced many challenges in her life, but she has a friendly attitude towards everyone. She meets everyone with an open heart and greets them by wagging her tail. When she arrived at Southern Indiana Animal Rescue, she was very thin, weighing just 70 pounds. It was clear she had gone through a tough time.

Not long after she came to the rescue, the sad news came- Mae had a terminal cancer that couldn’t be cured. The doctors said she might only have a few weeks left to live. Elizabeth Starck, who takes care of rescued animals, felt a strong connection with Mae since the first day. She decided to take Mae home and give her all the love and care she could. Mae’s adorable face, with a cute underbite, and her sweet nature made a lot of people love her.
