Wild animals are also as cute, adorable, and loyal as family pets. They can sense human love and gentleness for them when they are accompanied by humans. If you heartily love them then they also become friendly with you. They keep a special place for the people who love and take care of them. The same love and affection showed by a raccoon in return to his foster when he was rescued.

This raccoon was very young when the lady rescuer found him all alone on the side of the road. The poor animals might have died if the lady had not rescued him. Several people advised Nikki Robinson, who works in wildlife rehabilitation, “Leave it alone and let nature take its course, or “you can take it to a vet and they will have to euthanize it.” But she was not ready to leave him alone and followed her heart’s voice. Nikki took in the rescued raccoon and took care of him until he was strong enough to go back to the wild. She wanted to give him the life that he deserves.

Nikki was a full-time working woman, so she asked her mom, Linda, who was a semi-retired woman, to adopt the baby raccoon. At first, she was not sure about it but later she accepted to be the foster mom of the baby raccoon. She fed the animal almost five times a day with a bottle.

It was June when she adopted the baby and at the end of the summer, the baby raccoon got ready to strike out on his own. She assured herself that the raccoon would survive where he belongs.

Surprisingly, the kind and lovely raccoon never forgets to visit his beloved mom and asks for hugs, belly scratches, and his favorite snacks also.

Further, Nikki explained that her mom has a swing outside where she sits and the baby raccoon would come up onto the swing and sit beside her. He just wants his butt and chin scratched. Once he had his food he would wander off.

Linda has adopted numerous orphaned animals and left them back into the wild after raising them. But like cute kids, he kept paying attention and occasional visits to Linda’s house.

Nikki said that everyday her mom sits outside and waits for those who were raised up by her including the rescued raccoon. She just loves it.
