Meet Simba, The Baby Goat With World’s Longest Ears

In various corners of the world, many types of goat breeds exist, each known for their unique and distinctive characteristics or features. Such an adorable Nubian baby goat named Simba is famous all over the world for its long ears.  At first glance, Simba looks like some beloved cartoon character, having a bouncy gait, friendly gestures and exceptionally long ears. Simba is entitled as the Guinness World Record Holder for having the world’s longest ears on a baby goat.

It might be surprising for you after looking at its long ears because Simba is just 1 month old and is still growing. Simba’s ears were measured around 48 centimeters or 19 inches in length, which is still growing and seemingly touches the ground when it walks around. Simba was born in Karachi, Pakistan and has become a local celebrity due to its remarkably long ears. With its cute appearance and exceptionally long ears, Simba is not only captivating the attention of locals but has also taken the internet by storm.

Muhammad Hassan Narjeo, Simba’s owner was amazed when he noticed rapid growth in his ears but he is also proud of his goat’s unique feature. He also built a set of soft pouches to tuck Simba’s ears into. He ties the pouches around Simba’s neck to prevent them from tripping over as he runs and plays.

However Nubian goats are renowned for their long and pendulous ears which help them to stay cool. But Simba’s ears are exceptionally long due to a genetic mutation. Simba always enjoys the attention when people adore him and approach to click pictures but he is playful also and never misses his walks.
