Lost Fawn Thinks German Shepherd Is His Mom and Follows Her For Embrace

Look at this little fawn, who got lost in Southern Pines, North Carolina. He was looking very distressed when he couldn’t find his mommy back. Maybe he tried a lot to find his mom and became weary. 

Fortunately, the poor fawn encountered a kind and caring German Shepherd who was in police training and quick to become a helping hand.

Iris, who helped and comforted the little deer, is a 7-month-old German Shepherd. Recently she enrolled in the K9 training course to be a police pup. She was outside, on a walk with her owner when she met the lost little deer.

Iris and her daddy, Adrian Flores, go for a walk daily in the morning along a track in Southern Pines. They both love to have morning walks together and find it refreshing. But one morning something unexpected happened, they noticed a little figure following them.

Their walk was interrupted by a little deer following them for a long time.

The very little deer had gotten lost and he would have started following Iris as if she was his mom. 

Iris realized that the poor little deer was scared and in need of help, so she immediately approached the young deer and tried to comfort him. After that, the fawn was relieved to finally have someone friendly and looking after him.

At first, he was hesitating, but then he went closer to Iris and started pouring his love into Iris. He kissed Iris and cuddled up with her. Iris did the same to the little deer, she also returned her love in the form of kisses and snuggles.

They spend nearly an hour together. Iris made him feel comfortable and calmed him down by keeping him safe until he discovered and thought about finding his way back home. 

Iris has just begun her K9 training. She is gentle and natural when it comes to protecting and serving. Sure, she’ll be an excellent police pup one day and be known for her honesty.
