When he was saved, he had several infected wounds, leaving him scared and traumatized. He was also being put on the kill list at his shelter due to his weakness. When Katherine, a kind lady, came to his aid it was the first time since his birth that Bub faced love and compassion. With the love and care of his new owner, Bub began his journey of healing. She patiently allowed him to work through his shyness and fear at his own pace. He made a remarkable physical and mental recovery and astonished everyone around him. He also formed a deep attachment with Katherine.

To provide Bub with security and stability while she was away, his owner decided to crate-train him. During this process, Bub discovered a newfound sense of comfort with his blankets. Each morning, he would emerge from his crate, clutching a blanket, and joyfully explore the house with a wagging tail. His blanket served as a safety net, reassuring him that everything was okay.

However, he recovered from his trauma and nightmares, but his attachment to his beloved blanket remained the same. It seemed like he found solace and warmth in his blanket. Over time, he also developed a fondness for pillows, toys, and anything that reminded him of home.

After a few days, Bub was provided with the most significant gift by his family. It was another rescued Pitbull named Simon to be his companion. While they hoped Bob would outgrow his attachment to blankets, it persisted. Simon adored and admired Bub, and soon they formed an unbreakable bond.
