Rescuers set out their way to the location told by the individual to save the poor canine. When the rescuers arrived there, they were taken aback by the condition of the dog. The canine had been used mercilessly as a bait dog, and he had innumerable enormous wounds all over his torso, face, back, and legs. His face was swollen and so sore that he couldn’t even open his eyes completely. They freed him immediately and made their way to the vet.

After the vet’s examination, it was clear that his condition was a lot worse than anybody could imagine. The unfortunate bait dog had gotten septic after leaving his wounds uncovered for several days. He had just left to die. But, everybody who came to his aid, pledged to give him a new and healthy life. The dog was placed on an IV and administered antibiotics and full medical treatment for months. They also advised a nanny to assist him around the clock.

The dog, later named Marco, turned out to be a true fighter. Despite his miserable condition, he never gave up on life and was full of spirit. His road to reform was not easy and lengthy enough, but, fortunately, he made his way.

As Marco was recovering, he won several hearts with his bravery and happy demeanor. Saviors posted his story on social media and started searching for a forever home for Marco.

Their hard work paid off, Marco now lives in a loving family with numerous dog siblings and friends. His fighting days are long gone, and he proved to be a winner in his battle against misery. He loves spending time with his siblings and cuddling up on the sofa.
