An Animal Control Officer Rescue The Trapped Baby Deer

Police never shy away from their duty to protect people. Every day there are some incidents in which police come to handle the situation to help the affected people. They respond to all sorts of events and nonevents, most of which never make the news. Here is a story about an incident that is lesser known but not less noteworthy. A week ago, ACO (Animal Control Officer) Smith called Carlisle for mutual aid to assist with a trapped baby deer who was struggling for life between a rock wall and fence.

They ran a thorough operation to save the fawn and bring him out of the situation. After the rescue, ACO Smith fed the fawn and confirmed that the baby deer had no obvious injuries. If they hadn’t rescued the trapped baby deer, it would have died there without food and water.

After assuring that the fawn was okay, they released it into a covered wood line to await its mother and stay hidden from predators.
